The Spier Hotel, just outside Stellenbosch, dates back to 1692. Meticulous renovation has restored the gracious Cape Dutch buildings to their former glory, and today, the scenic surroundings set the stage for a celebration of the finer things in life.
The clay-coloured, Cape-style buildings are clustered around courtyards, gardens and swimming pools. The Spier Hotel makes extensive use of locally-made art which can be seen in both the rooms and communal living areas.
The landscaped grounds allow a host of recreational activities for its guests, such as horse-riding through the vineyards, swimming, playing a round on the scenic golf course, or even visiting the on-site cheetah park.
Spier also has a number of award-winning restaurants on site, including the well-known Moyo and newly introduced Eight, known for it’s fresh organic product.
The Spier Hotel is a great destination hotel offering friendly service and lots to see and do in a family-friendly environment.
