General

Welgelegen Guest House is a comfortably elegant, Victorian era guest house with an African twist. The establishment comprises two Victorian houses that have been expertly renovated by the owner, Fiona Evans.

Curl up next to the fire with a glass of port and a book or a game of chess on a chilly winter’s night or recline in the sunny, fragrant courtyard next to the cool, dark plunge pool in summer.

The new therapy room offers alternative therapies, massage and beauty treatments to pep you up after a hard day sight seeing and lying on the beach, while the luxury en-suite rooms are all individiually decorated with beautiful fabrics, colours and textures.

Located at the base of Table Mountain, Welgelegen is just round the corner from Kloof Street and Long Street, the bustling and trendy centre of Cape Town.

Welgelegen is in Gardens, a suburb in the City Bowl of Cape Town.
