Day 1

Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, you will be met by our representative and assisted with your transfer to your hotel in Marrakech. Depending on your arrival time, you will have the rest of the day free to relax or explore the bustling streets, souks, and vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at your hotel. Meal Plan: Dinner (D)

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a half-day guided tour of Marrakech, the “Red City,” named for its distinctive pink-hued buildings. Visit the 16th-century Saadian Tombs, the opulent Bahia Palace, and enjoy external views of the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s largest and most iconic minaret. Stroll through the bustling souks and admire the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, filled with storytellers, musicians, and local vendors. After a light lunch, depart towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the breathtaking Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m). Enjoy scenic stops along the way to capture the stunning mountain landscapes. Arrive in the historic town of Ouarzazate, once a Foreign Legion stronghold, known for its ancient kasbahs and cinematic history. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3

After breakfast, travel east through the palm groves of Skoura, where you’ll see the Kasbah of Amerhidl, an iconic fortress that has stood the test of time. Continue to Qlaat M’Gouna, famous for its Roses Festival and the production of fragrant Rose Water, a beloved Berber product. Enjoy a photo stop in Boumalne Dades, then proceed to the charming town of Tineghir, at the gateway of the Todra Gorges, with its spectacular canyon walls rising up to 300 meters. Take a leisurely walk along the river, admiring the towering rock formations before stopping for a delicious lunch in a traditional restaurant nestled within the gorge. In the afternoon, journey through desert landscapes towards Erfoud, a small town known for its fascinating fossil factories. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 4

Enjoy a relaxed morning at your hotel, perhaps unwinding by the pool or exploring the town. After lunch, visit local fossil workshops and the nearby town of Rissani, the last major settlement before the desert, known for its lively souk. In the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Merzouga, located at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Take an optional camel ride (supplement payable locally) to witness a stunning Sahara sunset. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner before retiring for the night. Day 5

After an early breakfast, depart from Merzouga, following the southern route through the dramatic landscapes of the Jbel Saghro Mountains. Stop in Alnif for a delightful lunch before continuing the journey via N’Kob and Agdz, a picturesque oasis town known for its stunning date palm groves. Day 6

After breakfast, visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, one of the most impressive kasbahs in Morocco, followed by an optional visit to Atlas Film Studios, where famous movies such as Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed. Continue towards the spectacular Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar renowned for its well-preserved kasbahs and its role in numerous Hollywood films. Enjoy a guided tour and lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, travel back to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass once again.
