How To Book

Booking your safari with Safari Travel Plus is simple and flexible:

90 Days or More Before Your Safari: Secure your booking with a 35% deposit.

45 Days Before Your Safari: If you paid 35% earlier, a further 15% deposit (making a total of 50%) will be required.

Within 45 Days of Your Safari: A 50% deposit secures your booking.

Balance Payment: The remaining 50% is payable upon arrival, before your safari begins.

Day 1: Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) - City Hotel

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be warmly received by our Travel representative and then be transferred to a 5- star city hotel (Serena Hotel or similar). You will be able to enjoy the hotel facilities including dining options.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

You will be picked up at 0700 hrs and be driven via the Great Rift Valley for a Maasai Mara safari where you will arrive in time for lunch. During this journey, you will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and Mt. Suswa. Your accommodation will be at the Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar accommodation.

At 1600 hrs there shall be an afternoon game drive till dusk after which you will return to the lodge to have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve

At 0600hrs you will do an early morning game drive in the Mara and then return to the camp at 0830 hrs for breakfast. Thereafter you will relax until the afternoon when lunch will be served. After lunch at 1530 hrs you will proceed for an afternoon game drive until dusk and then return to the camp for dinner and the night.

(NB: instead of an early morning game drive, you have an option to do a balloon flight which starts at 5 am in the morning – but this is an optional activity costing extra. Should you require a balloon flight, please let us know).

Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After having breakfast at the lodge you will leave the Maasai Mara Game Reserve at 0800hrs and drive towards the Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park till sunset when you will head back to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Baringo

You will have a full buffet breakfast at the lodge and after this you will be driven to Lake Baringo where you will arrive at the Island Camp in the early afternoon in time for a delicious lunch. After lunch you can spend the afternoon relaxing to enjoy the camp's facilities or sample the optional activities available at the camp. Later in the evening you will have dinner at the camp and then rest for the night.

Day 6: Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria National Reserve

You will have a delicious buffet breakfast at the Camp and after this you will be driven to The Lake Bogoria National Reserve where you will arrive at the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort in time to enjoy a tasty buffet lunch. After lunch you will proceed for a game drive around Lake Bogoria until sunset when you will return back to the lodge for dinner and to rest for the night.

Day 7: Lake Bogoria National Reserve – Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport) – Zanzibar (Breezes Hotel)

There will be a morning Breakfast at the Lake Bogoria Spa resort. Thereafter you will be driven to Nairobi where you are expected to arrive before lunch. You shall make your own arrangements for lunch. On arrival in Nairobi you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar.

Once you arrive in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to a hotel named Breezes is an ideal retreat for honeymooners, with special surprises during your stay. This beautiful hotel has a romantic charm and offers a number of memorable venues just perfect for two.

Day 08 – Day 11: Zanzibar

You can use these days in Zanzibar to relax or explore the various activities offered by the lodge as well as to sample the sights and sounds of Zanzibar. Daily excursions throughout Zanzibar Town and Island can be organized at an extra fee.

Offering a range of marine activities ranging from Beach Volleyball, Pedal boats, canoes to daily snorkeling trips to the lagoon by boat, windsurfing and sailing.

Dinner and overnight at The Breezes or similar.

DAY 12: Zanzibar – Nairobi (Jomo Kenyatta International Airport)

You will have breakfast at The Breezes hotel and afterwards you can spend your time enjoying the hotel facilities as well as preparing to depart. You will then have lunch at the hotel and afterwards you will be transferred to the the airport for your onward flight to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be able to connect to your flight home.
