How To Book

Booking your safari with Safari Travel Plus is simple and flexible:

90 Days or More Before Your Safari: Secure your booking with a 35% deposit.

45 Days Before Your Safari: If you paid 35% earlier, a further 15% deposit (making a total of 50%) will be required.

Within 45 Days of Your Safari: A 50% deposit secures your booking.

Balance Payment: The remaining 50% is payable upon arrival, before your safari begins.

Day 1-3: Fly to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

Begin your journey in Johannesburg with a scheduled flight from OR Tambo International Airport to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. You will be met and transferred to the Sabi Sabi Little Bush Camp.

Your 3 night stay will include rewarding game viewing on morning and afternoon drives as you explore this striking & dramatic wildlife reserve for the Big 5 and hosts of other classic African animals. The Sabi Sands is a private game reserve, this means night drives, guided bush walks and off-roading for up-close views of Sabi's legendary wildlife are just some of the advantages you will be privy to.

Relaxation is important between game drives, facilities at your lodge includes a lounger by the swimming pool and lounge area. You can also treat yourself to a wellness treatment or massage at the Amani Spa at Bush Lodge.

Day 4: Flight back to Johannesburg

After a blissful time in the Sabi Sand, transfer back to Johannesburg. On arrival, you are driven to Fairlawns Boutique Hotel and Spa for the night, a haven in this buzzing city and the perfect relaxation spot to gear up for your Masai Mara adventure.

Day 5: Journey to Kenya

Make your way back to OR Tambo International Airport for your flight to Nairobi.

On arrival, you are met by a representative and taken to the Hilton Nairobi Hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to relax at this city hotel or to explore Kenya's favourite city.

Day 6-8: Masai Mara National Reserve

Return to the Airport for your scheduled flight to the Wilson Airport.

Once you arrive at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by a representative and transferred to nearby Wilson Airport for a flight to the famed Masai Mara. Your safari adventure starts right away with a game drive as you make your way to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp. Enjoy your days exploring one of Kenya's most rewarding game parks. The game viewing is amazing at any time of the year and includes opportunities to see the Big 5. From August when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River from the Serengeti and spread across the Masai Mara to create the Great Migration. Kichwa Tembo is located within proximity of the path of the Migration and the herds remain in the area until about early November. Hot-air balloon rides, spectacular bush breakfasts or dinners, interpretive bush walks and night game drives can also be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 9: End of your African Journey

Transfer back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After an amazing journey through two of Africa's wildlife highlights bid farewell as your board your flight for your onward journey.
