Dik Dik Hotel
The Dik Dik Restaurant Hotel takes its name from the smallest gazelle in Africa, which lives on the nearby mountain slopes. The hotel is situated half way between Arusha and Kilimanjaro International Airport.
The hotels location at the foot of Mount Meru, little brother to Mount Kilimanjaro, makes it a great base for climb up Mount Meru. Those planning on a Mt Kilimanjaro climb can use Mount Meru as a practice run.
This is a good ‘home away from home’ for your expedition up Mt Kilimanjaro or Mt. Meru or a well-placed starting point for a Tanzania safari starting in Arusha. After an arduous climb there’s nothing better than relaxing around a swimming pool in cool, tropical gardens.
Dik Dik offers a small conference room, seating up to approximately 35 guests, with standard equipment including slide and overhead projectors. The hotel has its own power supply, satellite telephone and fax facilities, as well as a modern water treatment plant.
