Your guide meets you at your Nairobi hotel or JKIA. The scenic road transfer to the Mara takes approximately 5-6 hours with a comfort stop en route. Arrive at your camp in the early afternoon, settle in, and take an optional late-afternoon drive as the savannah light turns gold.

A full day in the Mara. Morning drive departs at 7:00am. Big Five territory, resident lion prides, elephant herds, cheetah on the open plains. Lunch and afternoon rest at camp. Optional sundowner drive as the evening light begins and temperatures cool.

Final morning drive in the Mara, then transfer north through the Great Rift Valley — one of the world's great scenic drives. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in the early afternoon. A gentle one-hour boat safari introduces hippo pods, fish eagles, and hundreds of waterbirds from a covered motorboat.

A leisurely morning at the lake before the transfer south through Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. Your guide handles all logistics. You simply relax and watch the landscape shift from highland greenery to semi-arid savannah. Arrive at Amboseli in the late afternoon for a welcome rest.

Amboseli is home to Africa's finest elephant herds, large extended family groups photographed against the snow of Kilimanjaro when clouds permit. Morning drive at 7:00am, back for breakfast and rest by 10:30am. Optional afternoon drive as the light softens and Kilimanjaro often emerges.

One final morning drive in Amboseli as the dawn light catches the summit of Kilimanjaro. Return for a full hot breakfast at the lodge. Afternoon transfer back to Nairobi, arriving in time for an evening flight or a final night in the city.
