Richard’s Camp
Located on the edge of a beautiful forest in the Masai Mara conservation area, Richard’s Camp was originally the Roberts’ family home.
*Prime Location – the camp is set in an area renowned for exceptional big game viewing.
*Bush Bath – relax in a Victorian bath tucked away in the forest.
In the year 2000 it was turned into a small and exclusive tented camp which is still owned and operated by Richard Roberts, who was raised in the Masai Mara from the age of 3 and has an abundant and intimate knowledge of the area and its people.
Your days at the original Richard’s Camp now known as Richard’s forest camp can be as relaxing or as exciting as you wish, with both day and night game drives in open 4-wheel drive vehicles, guided bush walks, picnics in the heart of the Kenyan bush and cultural visits to a local Maasai manyatta.
You can round off these activities with sundowners in spectacular scenery or indulge in an open-air Victorian bath tucked away in the forest, surrounded by flickering candles and the sounds of the bush.
Location
Richard’s Camp is situated approximately 180km west of Nairobi, in a conservation area north-west of the Masai Mara National Reserve, it is a choice for those on a masai mara safari holiday.
