Acajou
Acajou is named after the mahogany (acajou) which was cultivated in a man-made forest in southern Africa, specifically for use in environment-friendly construction.
Here, you will find a small spa, as well as a gym. The sandy, white beach of Cote d’Or is just a short stroll away, and a perfect spot to relax and take in the tranquil views of the ocean.
The friendly staff can assist you in arranging interesting excursions around the island, as well as car and bicycle rental. The island has breathtaking diving and snorkelling spots just waiting to be explored.
If you are up for some sightseeing, you can visit the Vallée de Mai – known for its interesting coco de mer palms and rare parrot species. At Acajou you will also have the opportunity to see the amazing turtles that come onto the beach at night.
Acajou is located on the east coast of Praslin, the second largest island in the Seychelles.
