Bayete Zulu Boutique Lodge is strategically set away from the hustle and bustle of other local tourist centres. The colonial-style decor adds to the safari effect, making you feel as if it were your own private lodge.

There is plenty to entertain your children. In addition to being awestruck by the wildlife surrounding the lodge, they can play on the jungle-gyms, seesaws, swings, trampoline and in a tree house.

The staff are more than happy to help you organise your activities if you decide on taking a day outing into the surrounding area. In the evenings, take a soak in the jacuzzi or sink into the couch in the lounge to recharge.

Both day and night game drives are on offer giving you the opportunity to see a greater variety of wildlife. Interact with Rambo and Rachel – the reserve’s people-friendly elephants – and if you’re lucky you might run into Princess Kwezi, the rhino.
