Chongwe River Camp
Chongwe River Camp is a ‘bush camp’ situated in a pristine 4 000 sq km sanctuary teeming with game, and where elephant are more numerous than people. There are no fences in this wilderness area and the animals have complete right of way.
Relax in the sitting area overlooking the river and watch the constant procession of game coming to drink, as well as over 250 species of birds.
If you wish to enter into the spirit of non-intrusive enjoyment of wildlife, in a relaxed, natural setting, Chongwe River Camp offers the experience of a lifetime.
To get closer to nature you could go on a guided game drive in open 4×4 vehicles, enjoy a tranquil canoe safari or find a peaceful spot and try your hand at tiger-fish angling.
Chongwe River Camp is situated at the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers, directly opposite Mana Pools, in the Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia.
