Dugong Beach Lodge
Dugong Beach Lodge is situated on the tropical Indian Ocean coastline of Mozambique, within a beautiful marine and wildlife sanctuary, and is the perfect place for a Mozambique beach holiday – besides kayaking, there really isn’t much else to do than just kick off your shoes and unwind.
The sea is tidal, offering you the best of both worlds: sometimes you’ll have a stunning beach stretched out before you, while at other times you can get straight into the water for a swim, from the very edge of your garden.
The bar is open daily, and offers poolside refreshments, while the lounge is equipped with a TV and a DVD player – ideal for a lazy afternoon. There is a fresh-water swimming pool, and boardwalk jetty, while the gazebo on the jetty is a perfect setting for sundowners or private dinners.
The wildlife of the marine sanctuary include leatherback turtles, a huge variety of tropical fish, dolphins and the Atlantic Dugong – a mysterious creature that is critically endangered.
The incredible remote location of Dugong Beach Lodge means peace and privacy is guaranteed.
