Ishasha Wilderness Camp
Found on the banks of Uganda’s Ntungwe River, and set within the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha Wilderness Camp is a peaceful retreat surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.
Famous for its tree-climbing lions, the Queen Elizabeth National Park’s cratered hills and expansive grasslands are home to a fantastic variety of flora and fauna, including 610 species of bird, and what is said to be the world’s largest concentration of hippo.
Ishasha Wilderness Camp provides a great base from which to enjoy a variety of activities. Head off on guided game drives, organise an excursion to the Lake Edward floodplains, or pay a visit to a traditional medicine man at nearby Kazinga village.
Whether you’re looking to go out exploring, or you just want to sit back and relax to the sounds of the wild, this is a fine addition to any Ugandan holiday.
Ishasha Wilderness Camp is situated in the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda.
