Kwara Camp
Kwara is located in the remote northern part of the Okavango Delta within the private Kwara concession. It is a magnificent wilderness area in excess of 1,700 square kilometres bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.
Kwara encompasses a wide diversity of habitats, ranging from permanent delta water with reed-lined lagoons and channels, to open grasslands, Mopane woodlands and palm-fringed islands.
You can enjoy a diverse wildlife experience all year round; glide silently through crystal-clear waterways in a mokoro (dug-out canoe), enjoy thrilling speedboat rides, go bird-watching or fishing, take a walk on one of the many palm-fringed islands (seasonal), or head out on an exciting day or night game drive.
Among the waterways there is an amazing number and variety of bird species, such as kingfishers, pygmy geese, fish eagles and the elusive Pels fishing owl. If you just want to relax at camp, then wander down to the bird hide for a leisurely afternoon.
Kwara Camp is located in the remote northern reaches of the Okavango, within the Kwara concession in northern Botswana.
