La Digue Island Lodge is set in beautiful tropical gardens near to Anse Source d’Argent, voted numerous times as one of the ‘best beaches in the world’. The beach bordering the lodge, Anse Reunion, is great too.

The lodge is the main hotel on La Digue, and is well situated in a central location, just across the road from a supermarket and bank.

When not lying on the beach, you can hire a bicycle and explore the island’s coastline. If you’d prefer to explore the underwater world, pay a visit to the dive centre which offers scuba-diving, including a course for absolute beginners, and also has snorkelling equipment.

Above the water La Digue offers free boat trips to neighbouring islands and sunset cruises.
