Lake Manyara Serena Lodge
Edge Of The World – the rim-flow pool has breathtaking views over the Great Rift Valley.
Activities – there is plenty to do with night drives, nature walks, mountain biking and canoe safaris.
African Design – the thatched, circular buildings are inspired by Masai traditional architecture.
Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge has an incredible location on the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment, commanding panoramic views accross the volcano-studded floor of the Great Rift Valley and a great choice while on a Lake Manyara Safari.
The area is renowned for its birds of prey, which inspired the design of Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, and the famous tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the Rift Valley.
The lodge offers daily excursions to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara, walking safaris, mountain bike and canoe safaris, mountain climbing, guided bird walks and traditional dance performances in the evenings. Although one of the most popular ‘activities’ is relaxing alongside the beautiful swimming pool, and soaking up the show-stopping views.
‘Boma’ style rondavels echo the traditional Maasai style of construction and are scattered around the lodge gardens. There are also special tariffs for children and young adults.
