Mfuwe Lodge
Mfuwe Lodge is situated in the Luangwa Valley, a game-rich area known for its elephant herds. The open-plan central lodge is cool and airy, and has a lounge with several comfy sofas and armchairs, dining room and bar areas, all under a thatched roof supported by palm tree poles and dominated by two impressive chimneys at opposite ends.
The broad timber deck and swimming pool overlooks the main lagoon, and is the ideal spot to view some of the local wildlife; elephant, hippo, a variety of antelope species and crocodiles are plentiful in this area.
Some of the activities offered at Mfuwe Lodge are day and night game drives, walking safaris and bird watching. For quieter, more contemplative moments, the nature conservation library with its own deck, shaded with giant ebony trees is the ideal spot to relax.
Mfuwe Lodge also has its own private bush spa offering contemporary eastern and western treatments, and has beautiful private views of the river and surrounds.
Mfuwe Lodge is located in Zambia’s renowned South Luangwa National Park.
