Namutoni Resort
Evocative and steeped in history, Namutoni is situated on the eastern edge of Namibia’s renowned Etosha National Park, centred around a distinctive, old, German fort which overlooks the King Nehale waterhole.
One of the highlights of a stay at Namutoni while on an Etosha Park Safari is the sunset view over Fischer’s pan, seen in the distance from the top of the watchtower. Explore the vast Etosha National Park on exciting game drives and marvel at the large springbok and zebra herds.
Elephants particularly are wonderful sightings; the Etosha elephants are considered some of the larger in Africa and are often covered in a pale white dust.
In addition to game viewing activities, you could visit the museum which chronicles the fascinating history of the fort and surrounding area, or simply relax by the swimming pool.
