Take to the Sky – enjoy an amazing balloon ride over the central Serengeti.
Olakira Camp is a mobile tented camp that moves through the Serengeti, ensuring optimal game viewing opportunities.
The camp is in Ndutu from December 1 until March 31, the period during which millions of animals migrate over the Ndutu plains to give birth to their next generation.
On June 1 the camp moves to a location on the Mara River in the Northern Serengeti where the Bologonja River meets the Mara River. From 1 June until 15 November, after the migration has moved further north, the Olakira Camp offers you the amazing opportunity of a balloon flight over the vast expanses of the central Serengeti.
The Olakira Camp spans out around 2 common tents. When the camp is occupied by multiple small groups, one tent serves as a dining tent and the other as a lounge.
When a large group is staying at the camp together, one of the common tents can be designated as an exclusive lounge/dining tent for that group, leaving the other tent open to everyone else.
Location
Olakira Camp is located in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
