Serondella Lodge
The Inyoni Pan, where kingfishers dive and game come to drink, is directly in front of Serondella Lodge in the Thornybush Game Reserve.
The reserve is adjacent to Timbavati and the Kruger National Park and offers prime game-viewing territory, including opportunities to view a variety of wildlife and more than 250 bird species.
Serondella Lodge is an 8-bed camp which offers flexibility and personal service. The Big 5 roam the 11 500-hectare reserve with a superb climate all year-round.
With its rustic walkways, private viewing platforms and suites under thatch, the lodge blends with the bush. You can view game from the lounge veranda which overlooks a waterhole.
The pan is floodlit at night and you’ll have the opportunity to take some great photographs or videos from the wide wooden deck.
Suspended wooden walkways link treetop hides to suites set along the meandering Monwana tributary. Serondella Lodge is flanked by 2 waterholes where you can enjoy an abundance of big game and birdlife from spectacular viewing decks.
Children can enjoy specialised kiddies walks and activities and children’s spa treatments, as well as delicious kid’s meals. Each child receives a fun activity pack including a colouring book, crayons and an interactive safari toy. Babysitting services are also available.
