Seronera Wildlife Lodge
Seronera Wildlife Lodge is situated in the heart of the Serengeti, world famous for its large numbers of grazing mammals.
The Seronera Valley is an important transition zone between the southern plains and northern woodlands and provides a rich diversity of habitats, crisscrossed by rivers.
The lodge is constructed almost entirely from wood and glass around a natural “kopje” or rocky outcrop. As you look out from the spacious bar and restaurant you’ll understand why the word Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word “Serenget” meaning “wide open space”.
The Seronera River winds in a u-shape around the lodge. With year-round water, this is the most reliable part of the park to view wildlife.
Game viewing activities include nature walks and hikes, and you may spot one of the elusive leopards which usually rest in the branches of the acacia trees near the river tracks.
