Tarangire Sopa Lodge
On the eastern side of the Tarangire River stands Tarangire Sopa Lodge. The lodge is located in the Tarangire National Park and is one of Tanzania’s most easily accessible conservation areas.
The park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, and over 400 wild bird species, making it a birders’ paradise.
Built to blend with the vastness of its surroundings, Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab trees and grasses of the Tarangire National Park.
Constant water supplies provide a lush green which contrasts with the stark and dry areas, and form concentrations of game, which can be viewed from the guest room balconies.
Getting to Tarangire Sopa Lodge is an experience in itself and plentiful wildlife to be viewed on the way. Much game can be seen around the lodge, allowing you a close encounter.
Set amid lush woodland, Tarangire Sopa Lodge has an elegantly designed main lounge and dining area, where you can relax and take in the views beyond.
Jump into the large swimming pool and cool down in between game drives or take in the African sun at the pool bar. Children are very welcome at the lodge, and babysitting services are available.
Taragire Sopa Lodge is situated between the Tarangire River and Tarangire Hill, in the Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.
