Khaudom Game Reserve is situated in the northeastern corner of Namibia, in the beautiful Kavango region. The reserve is wild and largely undeveloped and therefore not crowded with tourists and minibuses, though this also means the roads are not so good in summer when it rains.
The park has a reputation for being unspoilt and full of pristine bush where you are likely to see animals like elephant, lion, wild dogs, giraffes, wildebeest and rare antelopes like roan, tsessebe and reedbuck.
The 3840km2 reserve is also known as a good birding spot.
