The Singita Private Reserve comprises 60km2 (6 000 hectares) of privately owned wilderness in the famous Sabi Sands Reserve. The name Singita has become synonymous with the ultimate in exclusivity and luxury, and you’ll often find Singita at the top of prestigious travel and hospitality award lists.
Wildlife
It may be difficult to tear you away from the extreme comforts of the lodge, but the Singita Reserve commands every bit as much attention as your private suite. Typical of the Sabi Sands, you will no doubt encounter all the big safari attractions – including herds of elephant, large lion prides and solitary leopards.
The birdlife in this area of the Kruger can be equally enchanting so make sure to keep your head in the clouds while on game drives.
Game drives
The 60km2 (6 000 hectares) reserve makes for beautiful and incredibly wild game drives. Game drives at Singita will take you as close to African wildlife as you could ever hope to get.
During your stay at Singita, you’ll have a personal ranger and skilled Shangaan tracker, who will accompany you on all your game drives. To further increase your chance of spotting the Big 5, Singita rangers keep in radio contact and send each other reports of the latest game sightings.
Singita lodges
Within Singita Sabi Sands there are two lodges: Boulders and Ebony. The lodges each have a distinctive and unique feel but share a common Singita trademark – magnificent and spacious suites set against a wild and beautiful backdrop.
