Terms & Conditions

Mode of Payments:

Safari Travel Plus is a registered business trading as All Things Safari Travel Plus. All payments should be made to All Things Safari Travel Plus.

We accept the following payment methods:

Wire/SWIFT bank transfers – Clients are responsible for any applicable bank charges. A flat USD 40 bank processing fee will be included in the client’s invoice.

M-Pesa – Mobile payments are accepted. Details will be provided upon request or included in your invoice.

Credit Card (In-Person Only) – Credit card payments are accepted only when the card is physically present. We do not currently accept online credit card payments.

Currency:
All our inbound safari packages are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

Registration, Booking confirmation:

A deposit of 35% is requested at the time of booking. The balance or final payment is due at least 7 days prior to the departure.

You may also choose to pay full safari amount at booking confirmation if you prefer.

If a reservation is made within 30 days of departure, the entire amount must be made within 7 days of the booking confirmation. When booking your holiday with Safari Travel Plus please quote the tour name, the intended date for arrival and departure, number of people traveling in your party, sleeping/ rooming arrangements and flight details, if known. This will ensure that our arrangements are concise and to your satisfaction. All payments as quoted and invoiced must be received in full before the start of the safari; and Safari travel Plus will not provide the service unless full payment is received.

Payment Mode:

All Quotations and Payments are in United States Dollars, unless otherwise specified, and shall be made by Credit Card or by Wire Transfer to our bank account – details to be provided on request. Safari Travel Plus will receipt your money, and send you a copy of the receipt, thereby confirming your safari. All payments as quoted and invoiced must be received in full before the start of the safari; and Safari Travel Plus will not provide the service unless full payment is received.

Cancellation:

At Safari Travel Plus, we understand that plans can change. If you are unable to travel, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to assist you in rescheduling your safari for a later date. The earlier you notify us, the more flexibility we can offer.

If you choose to cancel your booking entirely, the following cancellation terms will apply based on the date we receive written notice:

60+ days before departure: 50% refund

29 – 15 days before departure: 25% refund

14 – 0 days before departure: No refund

> Note: We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation coverage.

Tour Alteration:

Safari Travel Plus reserves the right to alter any route or tour arrangement, to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour should the conditions necessitate.

Transfer of Booking:

In the event you are unable to travel due to extra-ordinary circumstances, we may transfer your booking to another party provided the arrangements remain the same and if suppliers (airlines, hotel etc) are ready to accept the transfer.

Complaints:

If the client has a complaint/refund query about any aspect of his/her holiday it should be reported immediately to the Safari Travel Plus tour leader while on safari. If the problem is not resolved to the client’s satisfaction, further complaint/refund query should be made by the client in writing to Safari Travel Plus  not later than 30 days following completion of the holiday. Failure to do this, no claim may be brought against Safari Travel Plus.

Unused Services /Refunds:

There are no refunds for unused portions of the programme. It is understood and agreed that refunds will not be made to passengers who do not complete the tour for any reason whatsoever.

Arrangements:

Quoted tour rates include planning, handling and operational charges, based on the current rate of exchange and tariff. In the event of an increase in foreign exchange or tariff rates, rates are subject to revision.

Viewing Animals:

When it comes to game viewing, please be advised there are no guarantees. It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat. Take only a photograph; leave only a footprint. A gorilla permit guarantees you will trek gorillas to their location but does not guarantee that the gorillas be in plain sight.

Responsibility/ Liability:

Safari Travel Plus is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any person or entity it does not own or control, nor for any act or inaction of any other third party not under its control.

Without limitation Safari Travel Plus is not liable for any direct, indirect consequential, or incidental damage, injury, death, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity of any kind which may be have occasioned by the reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including, without limitation any willful or negligent or failure to act on breach of contract of any third party such as airline, train, hotel, local ground handler or safari operator.

Similarly, Safari Travel Plus is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or changes of schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of any third party, attacks by animals, sickness, the lack the appropriate medical care, evacuation to same, if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, acts of terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control.
