The Wilderness National Park is a nature lover’s paradise, with several lakes that flow into the Serpentine channel and join the Touws River at Ebb & Flow, where the rest camp is situated.
This estuarine microcosm of lakes, rivers and beaches is threaded with captivating nature trails that wind through dense forests and along burbling rivers. A walk in the Wilderness National Park allows you the opportunity to see the rare and colourful Knysna Lourie or one of five kingfisher species that inhabit the area.
The Wilderness National Park also offers many activities to keep you busy, from bicycling and canoeing to abseiling and even paragliding. You can sleep under the stars or enjoy a stay in a log cabin on stilts.
