This wildebeest migration video was shot by a tourist to Kenya’s masai mara during the wildebeest migration season.
You really have got to see the migration to actually believe it. It’s an awesome spectacle that usually involve over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebra and antelops in search for pasture.
Not many know that along with the wildebeest there are 200,000 zebra and 300,000 antelops and migrate with the herd. These animals migrate together one reason being that they each eat different parts of grass. Zebra tend to feed on long tough grass stems preparing them for the broad muzzle of the wildebeests. Thompson gazelles also prefer the shorter grass.
